Topics and the directions of the debate will be selected on the spot interactively by participants. The debate will be moderated by Johanna Irrgeher, Pascal Bohleber and Björn Meerman.

How to stand out from the crowd: Get your work the attention it deserves.There is always a lot of talk about how to write articles, choose the right journal, get them published, etc., but not much is said about what can be done to gain recognition in the scientific world after the publication. Young scientists are welcome to join us at the round table where we are going to be discussing different ways of promoting scientific work, gaining recognition and creating a good scientific reputation among the colleagues.We will be joined by Philippa Ross - Executive Editor at JAAS (RSC), Dr. Ciprian C. Stremtan, geochemist and applications specialist from Teledyne Photon Machines and Prof. Dr. Denise Mitrano from ETH Zurich.
